2007 is here
So 2007 is upon us and our projects are continuing to take shape.
The first major project, our cross platform system management tool which we have nicknamed secman for now is coming along, we're looking to make some announcements and possible alpha releases of that technology sometime around May.
The second major project we're involved with is coming along beautifully, look for some announcements in that space in late March or early April.
Of course both of them will be open sourced in the core with professional support, professional builds and add on tools available to help out your deployment.
We're also working up our consulting services at the moment, keep an eye out for those if your company is interested in having professional support for the use of some of the major components of the OSS stack which you can't really get elsewhere, we work hard on our relationships with a number of big projects and believe those relationships will extract real value for our customers.
We are continually amazed by the amount of downloads of some of our smaller projects at http://intient.com/wiki. We thank you for your support and feedback! Of course we always welcome submissions of patches, additions and feature requests. We're also getting ready to release our issue tracking system based on the excellent scarab software, you'll hear more here when its ready for use.
Stay Tuned for more...

Welcome
Welcome to the first edition of the intient blog. For those of you who are unfamiliar with what we do, we are a software development and services company focused on creating quality software and services based on open source and open standards. We firmly believe that open source software development is better than closed software development methodologies and that transparency is the key to real quality.
Intient is currently working on two major projects to supplement some of our tiny projects already available at our wiki. The first of these is a cross server management tool which allows you to run distributed commands and processes from a central control position regardless of the operating system in use on the server in question, coupled with a very clean web based user interface this makes system admin across disparate platforms a dream.
Our second project is still in development, we'll have more to say on both of these shortly.
Additionally if your interested in finding quality hosting for your open source project feel free to contact us, chances are we'll be more then happy to help you out with bandwidth, a home on the web and development tools.
