Farewell

14th, January, 2010

Unfortunately we’ve had to make the tough decision to end our little operation here and move on to other pursuits, tough economic times and tightening in the project space are a friend to no one :( .

We’d like to thank our customers, suppliers and friends for a wonderful 4 years.

Our open source software will continue to live on thanks to github and some of our previous staff who wish to continue driving these efforts.

We’re aware a very small number of our clients still have time left under original support arrangements, for these folks the email address support@intient.com will continue to be monitored and responded to until all such obligations are complete.

Nimble

For Nimble all ongoing development will continue to be carried out by Bradley Beddoes you can find the relevant Nimble details:

GConnect

For GConnect the platform is now fully open source and not encumbered by license restrictions (and has been for some time now).

IF YOU HAVE AN EXISTING INSTALL THE EASIEST WAY FORWARD IS TO MAKE USE OF OUR UNLIMITED LICENSE FILE WE’VE PROVIDED FOR ALL EXISTING CLIENTS AS A COURTESY.

To switch to the unlimited license simply replace the file $gconnect/data/config/license.xml with the version you can download from the downloads area on github ( http://github.com/intient/gconnect/downloads ) and re-start the service.

If you’d like to deploy GConnect from scratch you can access GConnect source at http://github.com/intient/gconnect and download a binary version at http://github.com/intient/gconnect/downloads. We regret to inform that there is no ongoing support for GConnect development and/or setup available.
